What to do if you are feeling lost…

When I first dreamed of my “laptop work from anywhere lifestyle”, I thought it would be as easy as coaching clients 1:1 in the day followed up with one sexy instagram sunset post after another. I believed I had something of value to offer with my coaching and experience that could help others and surely people would see that and need my help. #fullybooked.  

What happened instead was a I felt lost in my work and I was tying my self-worth to what my business was worth… and in the early days that meant I was worth very little.

And I wonder is that something you can relate to?

Have you ever felt like this shit is just too hard and wondered why you started your business in the first place, do you feel like your work consumes you day AND night…EVERY DAY.  You know what I am talking about – checking your socials, checking your emails in the hope there is some engagement.

You just feel like one big ball of self-doubt and questioning on your direction.

And here’s the thing, it’s pretty normal I think for you to feel that way at least once in your entrepreneurial life.  ESPECIALLY if you are used to being a high achiever.

So here’s what I know can and will help if you are feeling lost.  stop… breathe… and listen.

Seriously.

I want you to start imagining what it is you want to have achieved by the end of the year, what it looks like, what it feels like… and then I want you to write that down.
I want you to then write down what you need to do at bare minimum to achieve that (ie – no shiny objects).  Once you have that written out I want you to ask yourself “how important is it that I do achieve this” AND Is this realistic?  (It’s not uncommon for folks to set a income goal of going from 0 – 250k without any major change to their offerings) . Then I would love for you to list what you need to do to get there, and who you need to ask support from.

That’s not all I’d like you to do if you are feeling a little lost.  I’d like you to also ask yourself the simple question of “what am I doing right now that is not serving me or is causing me anxiety & stress?”  I then want you to review that list and see whether you may be able to reduce or make some positive changes from this list.

Basically –  I’m asking you to clear the decks and re-asses – need support – let’s get in touch…
